Until 3 days ago, the slowest documented process on Earth ever observed was the radioactive decay known as two-neutrino double-β decay. During this process, two of the neutrons in an atom spontaneously decay into two protons, two electrons and two antineutrinos. The half-life of two-neutrino double-beta decay in Xe-136, an isotope of xenon, is about 2.11 x 10^21 years, 100 billion times longer than the 14 billion years for which our universe has existed!
But then there was our attempt to drive from Al Madam to Al Faqa… The large amount of drivers (a lot of first timers came) and the little number of Marshalls is a deadly combination for the speed of a drive. The first car got stuck after 30, 35 seconds maybe, and that was the trend of all the day..! Popouts, stuck cars, people lost… But it was a great chance to socialise, have fun, learn some Polish language and try to do a mannequin challenge.
